Sami Khedira wore this pair in multiple matches and training sessions during the 2012-13 season with Real Madrid. Khedira is up there with the best in the central defensive midfielder position, playing at the highest level and at some of the biggest clubs in the world throughout his career, as well as being one of Germany's most important players in their international success. He spent 5 years at Real Madrid from 2010-2015, making a total of 102 appearances scoring 6 goals. He then moved to Italian champions Juventus, making 88 appearences and scoring 21 goals to date. He is entering his 5th season (2019-20) at Juve at age 32.

This pair of CTR360's were made to Sami's exact specifications by Nike and feature some differences to the retail versions of this model. Hand made in Montebelluna, Italy, the boots have no internal size labels due to their custom nature.

"SK6" is embroidered into the side of each boot in a large font.
This pair feature carbon fibre mid-sole inserts for added strengthening. This is a modification which Nike apply to only a handful of their top players' boots. A subtle difference that can have a big affect.

Sami modified the soleplate of this pair opting for the Tiempo Legend plate, which features a more traditional layout with conical studs. A lot of elite players, especially in central midfield positions, have chosen this soleplate across the years regardless of which model they are using. Other players include the likes of Iniesta, Busquets, Neymar and Gotze.
The Nike swoosh logo on the bottom of the mid sole is actually a print underneath and not part of the soleplate.
There are still pitch markings on the bottom of this pair. The studs were made transparent, to avoid this showing on TV cameras and making it obvious that Khedira was not wearing a standard pair, but in fact has a modified stud pattern.
Sami wore this pair in a number of big matches throughout the 2012-13 season, including during the El Clasico Supercopa de Espana against Barcelona at the Camp Nou stadium, which Real Madrid won. He can be seen above battling with Lionel Messi.

Sami Khedira continues to be one of the best CDM's in the world and this pair of his match worn Nike CTR's are from his best season at Real Madrid, making 44 appearances and scoring 4 goals that season for the club. As well as winning the Supercopa de Espana, he also finished runners up in La Liga, the UEFA Champions League and the Copa Del Ray in that season under Jose Mourinho at Real.
