• The heels have been specially cut down and made lower for Bale’s requirements, this modification has been disguised by Adidas where they have applied a visual graphic for the remainder of where the rest of the heel counter would be
• A custom layer of padding has been added inside the heel area of the left boot
• Each boot also has a custom interior heel lining, which consists of extra padding with a soft blue suede liner 
• The tongue of each boot has also been stitched to the upper, so that it stays in place during use
