• These are a special custom made to measure “Sample” pair made just for Leo to his specifications & requirements for him to test prior to the public release of this generation of F50 Adizero 
• This pair however were not a sample made for the finalising of the retail model, they’re instead a model supplied to Messi to ensure that the custom elements made for him amount to the correct specification for him, before wearing them in matches  
• “Sample, not for resale” is stamped inside the heel area of each boot, meaning the boots are not for commercial sale to the general public due to the list of custom elements
• The soleplate has been specially modified, with the front 2 and rear 2 studs being made conical instead of triangular, known as the “Gambatrax” soleplate
• The heel cup features a custom shape which is lower on the lateral side & higher on the medial side than the retail version, along with a more angled cut as opposed to curved
• The MiCoach cavity has been made blocked off due to the player not requiring it 
• Custom suede insoles are present which are thicker than the standard insoles 
• This pair also feature a custom internal heel construction, which consists of a thicker heel padding along with a soft fabric liner, totally different to the commercially available model 
• The overall shape differs greatly to the mass produced retail model, much wider in the forefoot especially, along with the toe boxes being ‘flat’ in shape 
• Perfectly photo matchable to pictures of Messi using this pair during FC Barcelona training sessions from August - October 2013
