• Here we present to you one of the most special pieces of Manchester United memorabilia in the world, a pair of Adidas Profi boots match worn & double hand signed by the Welsh legend, Mark Hughes
• This pair were heavily worn by the player during the 1984/85 season in the English First Division whilst playing for the Red Devils
• This unique piece were worn during many matches throughout the season, including the FA Cup Final played at Wembley Stadium on the 18th May 1985 between Everton & Manchester United 
• United won the Final 0-1 in front of a crowd of over 100,000 fans 
• This pair contain immense history, from the beautiful wear & tear all around the boots, to the iconic aroma of the 80’s
• Hughes carved the number ‘16’ into the leather upper on the medial side of each boot, this was his very first squad number
• Manchester United players of this era have tended to do similar to this in terms of squad numbers with their equipment, the class of ‘92 are a prime example of this whereby they always had their training kit stamped with their original squad numbers (Scholes 53, for example)
